Love Field Airport, also known as Loves Landing Airpark is a small residential fly-in community located just 3 miles South East of Weirsdale in Marion County, Florida. The airpark has two runways, paved taxi roads and runway access to every lot.

The story of Loves Landing Airpark is a child young love for flying. John Love will always remember his uncle taking his cousins and he on a flight up and when it was his turn, his mother scooped him up telling him that he was too young to fly. He couldn't have been more than 3 or 4 years old. As a high school graduation gift, his mother had talked his father into giving him flight lessons. Soon after he graduated from college, he bought his first airplane. As he was tranferred from location to location for his job, he began to think of a beautiful aviation community for his plane.
Loves Landing was not only known for being a fantasic avaiation community, but also being well-known farmers in the area. Sam Love, Sr., was a long-time Florida Farm Bureau employee who, for his entire life, had cattle and citrus groves. His oldest son, also Sam, was an agriculture teacher for 30 years and was a citrus and cattle rancher. John worked for the Farm Bureau for some time as well but of course could not give up his passion for flying.

Interesting as it sounds, John flies the same model his uncle was flying that day over 5 decades ago that he never got the chance to ride in. Although Sam Love Sr., has since passed on, he was able to see the fruits of his labor before he did. To this day, Sam and John Love manage Love's Landing where their family farm sits and thanks to Loves Landing, John and Sam are both living their dream and legacy of their father.
